**07:40 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749825630424879):** This pump is unhappy.
**07:40 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749825641713429):** The other one works fine
**08:04 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827067857019):** These pumps are a mess. The other one won't turn the pump end. Are these our problem?
**08:04 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827077957219):** We have the logic working
**08:05 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827115492229):** Not our problem, I think Karl bought them, they may have sat for too long
**08:06 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827163061429):** If you can test with a meter showing the 4-20signals then I think that’s adequate until they replace them then we would need to function test.
**08:06 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827205074189):** Does it have seperate power?
**08:08 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827292994289):** I took the pump head off the motor and ran the motor variable speed from the plc.
Each pump is plugged into this receptacle.

**08:08 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827315756489):** Even better
**08:08 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827321373709):** just as a temporary way to control it i added some input boxes
**08:08 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827326520209):** played with the ranges at different flow rates
**08:08 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827329006179):** logic looks good
**08:10 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827450837139):** Makes sense to me, what is the scale for the flow rate to correspond to 100%? That should be user input I believe.
This needs to function for both wells so the combined flow rate should take care of that function instead of individual flow rate
**08:11 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827473050319):** it is the combined flow rate
**08:11 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827473764509):** Oh I get it now
**08:11 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827495884269):** And the input boxes are the wells flow rate not the chem flow rate
**08:11 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827506896079):** correct.
**08:11 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827518633439):** yeah it could be clearer.. but this was temp for our testing this morning
**08:12 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827535647309):** Awesome
**08:12 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827539585899):** chem pump 0% = 50gpm.. chem pump at 100% = 150gpm. for example
**08:12 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827556313429):** Yep
**08:13 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827614852329):** Just clarifying which flow rate cuz they both have flow rates is what confused me
**08:15 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827758998359):** oh right.. i was thinking the rates might want to be differente for each pump
**08:16 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827772466129):** so you could scale them differently if desired
**08:17 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827820983609):** You do, I mean flow rate of well vs flow rate of injection pump
**08:17 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827872594859):** oh yeah. we'll have to come up with a way to describe it that makes more sense
**08:18 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827891502009):** Pump Speed 0% at Well Flow Rate GPM
**08:18 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827902570209):** Also hard to do this over text but I think we are on the same page
**08:18 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827908927149):** ya
**08:18 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827924102659):** If an operator can get confused, they will
**08:18 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749827935188899):** oh yeah. i know that game
**09:12 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749831124335939):** @andy we are looking good. Chemical pump outputs are working. Transfer flow meter modbus is talking.
**09:13 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749831239721519):** I need two analog isolators to make the analogs work from the SC4500 unless I can wire the AI for a sourcing signal
**09:17 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749831429502199):** There's also only one negative wire? Maybe I can just run the 4to20 plus and negative direct to the card?
![[F091DTTRZ4J_img_20250613_091517.jpg]]
**09:24 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749831865239619):** No they are jumpered so you have to do an isolator
**09:24 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749831886612709):** I have a couple at my shop you can use for that.
**09:25 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749831913704189):** Disregard
**09:25 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749831915840409):** *Internally jumpered
**09:25 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749831940916299):** I think i got it to work
**09:28 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749832098597569):** Is wiring direct to the card acceptable or do you want terminal blocks?
![[F0916GKBTU6_img_20250613_092733.jpg]]
**09:28 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749832137428429):** Hm nah I gotta go to terminal blocks near the others
**09:29 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749832194153449):** That should work at the terminal blocks though if it works there
**09:31 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749832261169279):** No, because at the terminal blocks you have a 24v pos on the plus terminal for the loop. The sc4500 provides the 24v supply
**09:31 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749832263486599):** You have to land the black to the common distribution near the blocks
**09:31 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749832307092009):** You can land the red to the wire coming back and don’t hit the fused 24v
**09:31 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749832318648579):** I will try that
**09:41 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749832915424519):** Your way worked
**09:57 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749833857726179):** Does it say in the narrative what alarms need to call out on the sensaphone?
**09:58 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749833893660269):** No, it’s our judgement
**09:58 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749833939358539):** Tank level high
Low
Well 5 fault
Well 6 fault
Booster fault
Transfer fault
CLAVAL fault
**09:59 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749833976289809):** Your heads in it more I trust your judgement here
**10:00 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749834012695239):** Copy that
**10:14 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749834855010029):** @andy have you done any configuration on this sensaphone?
**10:14 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749834863217319):** Such as IP
**10:15 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749834904277059):** Yes it’s setup in my acct. Maybe if you give me a list I’ll set them up in there rather than
Figuring out access to the acct
**10:15 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749834924540939):** Just program the alarms to the outputs cuz I already wired it right?
**10:15 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749834936649039):** will do!
**10:37 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749836274554529):** The VFD at W6 trips on heatsink overtemp when it is hot outside. It doesn't appear that the fans are working. There has been mice activity on top of the vfd.
**10:38 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749836322817779):** Even in the shade? Wow
**10:38 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749836328129569):** We were constantly replacing fans in the oil field. We had shelves of extras and we would get that heat sink overTMP fault
**10:38 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749836335160109):** Mice bad
**10:39 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749836356721209):** Man that’s brutal
**10:39 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749836370175369):** These drives are new though that’s weird
**10:39 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749836384280419):** I mean, we did have several hundred VFD’s out there
**14:00 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749848420209249):** apparently P_AOut was never developed
**14:00 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749848446673089):** It looks like you can get away wihtout it right?
**21:27 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1749875241843779):** For sure.
