**08:21 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747408864965879):** Maybe
**08:24 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747409070836789):** That's it
**08:30 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747409442459639):** We don't have direct control over each VFD. Maybe we can create a second pump object that is a read only setup?
**08:30 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747409454670149):** Booster vfds that is
**08:31 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747409500577219):** You can trick the objects into acting like read only and that was my plan, Mason. I’m sure this is a more detailed conversation and you can pitch your ideas.
**08:31 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747409517548789):** Copy
**08:33 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747409595845579):** I’ll see what we have and think about options. I’ll be setting up to work on this in about 30 minutes
**08:34 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747409654817939):** I think all I do is have the run feedback wired into both the run feedback and the input call, if we have frequency feedback, I would wire that in to set it up into SCADA auto mode and it will think it is working.
**08:34 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747409692259029):** *In too; set
**08:35 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747409719300619):** I can huddle when you’re into it
**08:36 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747409789837249):** Do we even want the face plate to pop up for those? What would that give us on those pumps? It would be easy enough to display status and pump speed on the object I think.
**08:37 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747409839039169):** The reason I keep doing that is that it’s standardizes the visual and alarm experience for the user, it’s not worth my time to set up a simpler way, but it very well might be for you and I’m open to that
**08:38 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747409883872539):** Copy. I’ll explore soon
**09:40 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747413641512329):** @Kevin when you have a minute can you help me find the turbidity input and test the signal? i dont see an object for that one yet.

**09:44 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747413887076189):** 20ma
**09:47 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747414034501029):** i only see one analog channel with a signal. and thats channel 0
**09:47 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747414044040859):** i think that one has 12ma.. confirming now
**09:48 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747414086820019):** yeah a little over 12ma,. and thats the tank level

**09:50 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747414225060689):** Anything?
**09:51 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747414262573379):** no. Ch.0 is the only channel with a signal
**09:52 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747414336910559):** Ok. I can't give a signal on a sourcing analog with my POS generator. It will be on input 3, or input 2 if you start from 0
**09:52 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747414367990339):** There are fuses too, make sure they are in there and not blown.

**09:56 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747414618986699):** lol they suck but they are so much smaller! They hurt the fingers.

**09:58 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747414721456789):** Panel shop may have put them upside down. But a friend of mine told me to delegate more so it’s a little bit your fault
**10:05 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747415133950949):** @Mason Radke I put 2.5kohms on that input. You should see something now
**10:05 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747415156602069):** 8.6ma

**10:08 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747415308938789):** yep.. channel 1
**10:08 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747415332289889):** Copy. I can leave it if you want
**10:09 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747415355271849):** no need.. we will eventually need to scale these. but we can do that from the HMI
**10:09 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747415363847939):** and can wait until we have real signals if we want

**10:13 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747415636387749):** No. I'm still waiting for them to be connected to water
**10:14 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747415645209569):** i see 10.8ma for turbidity
**10:14 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747415650945409):** and getting a signal for cl2 i think
**10:14 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747415653031939):** standby
**10:15 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747415730612429):** @andy Karl came by. He was happy to see me here
**10:17 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747415832820199):** about 12ma on cl2 channel and 10.8ma on turbidity channel
**10:18 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747415889703459):** Now?
**10:18 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747415908024509):** no signal on either now.
**10:19 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747415948108639):** Interesting. Power is off to the instrument but there's resistance on the output channels
**10:20 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747416016665439):** We better put dead signal alarms on these
**10:37 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747417057516689):** There is an out of range alarm on all AIs through the object
**10:38 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747417089874879):** i think what hes saying is that there is a rouge IN range signal when the instrument loses power?
**10:38 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747417109087559):** so a flatline or zero deviation alarm maybe
**10:38 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747417136616319):** I have a flatline alarm aoi for this scenario but it’s not fully tested.
**10:39 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747417180502399):** Do you have anything for that Mason? Mines not very complex, dead and and duration, alarm if not outside of dead and after x time
**10:40 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747417229223249):** hm.. nothing canned.. but should be easy enough. I'll put it on the list
**10:52 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747417936492709):** It feels wrong to enjoy work this much

**10:55 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747418145749669):** I've been boots deep in a sewage wetwell. More than once.
**10:56 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747418163608149):** I’m smelling other people’s poop as we speak, sometimes you have to choose to focus on the positive
**10:59 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747418359740499):** Yeah definitely don't focus on that! My motto is you can touch it and look at it, but don't analyze it!
**11:01 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747418494945519):** That's important to remember when you are cutting a ball of ?? off of a submersible level transmitter

**11:17 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747419470392529):** I bet the outputs from the sc4500 are sourcing. Let me check
**11:25 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747419934202799):** no signals now
**11:26 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747419993056039):** Confirmed, the sc4500 is sourcing. We have a conflict.

**11:34 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747420495538679):** ok, i have an appointment at 12. no rush, but let me know your feedback on scada so we can get that polished up and dialed in.. and let me know when you want to test anything
**11:45 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747421148342229):** Fix sparkline on tank object
Claval flow rate says Well 6
Scroll bars are on analog objects on Well screen
Add flow rate and setpoint to transfer pumps
Disable HOA on boosters and transfer pumps since we can't control them individually
'Close' button on pump faceplate no worky
Id like to see an alarm bar if @andy agrees
We need to have a SP for the claval. Is there a valve object? No Faceplate comes up.
It's coming together! I didn't go through the faceplates. Assum8ng this work.
Thanks for your work Mason
**11:46 [Kevin](https://slack.com/archives/C08NFJSU753/p1747421191038749):** The flow rate for transfer pumps will be coming from the grudfos controller.
