Your two VTScada installations are still part of the same application replication network, meaning they are automatically syncing the application files. Even if you copied the app manually, once both systems have a copy with the same GUID / Application ID, VTScada assumes they're peers and starts synchronizing changes in real time over the network (including over VPN).
So every time you save locally, your local workstation pushes those deltas to the remote node.
