# Slow to open faceplates Msg to Rockwell support: Windows version is actually Windows Server 2019 Standard Edition. We have added a new PLC that uses Plant PAx AOIs to our network and have configured PlantPAx objects in SE. There is also a PanelView running the PlantPAx ME objects that is connected to the same PLC. The faceplates are much slower to load through SE than through ME.  This is especially true when opening a sub-faceplate such as the Alarm configuration tab. We've seen delays up to 10 seconds before the faceplate is populated. Ping time from the server to the PLC are <1ms. Our other screens for other PLCs with PlantPAx objects open fine with little delay. PlantPAx Library of Process Objects version 4.1 The new PLC is a 5069-L330ER. The PanelView is local to the PLC. SE server is connected via fiber ethernet. There are 24 Eaton VFDs connected to this PLC, as well as 3 Eaton power meters, and we are polling tags from two other PLCs. Seems like a lot to me, but the local PanelView doesn't have the same delays opening faceplates that SE does.
