# Reservoir Pump Station MCC design Questions: - VFDs?- Control scheme- Is the level transmitter there?- MCC Requirements - Supply Voltage - 480V 3P 3W 200kA SCCR- Feeder wires 2-3/0 per phase- Main Breaker 100% rating 400A Bottom Feed- Ratings - 42kA symetrical bus bracing - Class II Type B wiring - Type 3R enclosure- Ground Bus- Motor Control - 2 each Soft Starter rated 125HP 460V 3P motor namplate FLA = 156, Allen-Bradley SMC Flex or equal- Motor Control Pilot Devices - Hand-Off-Auto switch, Green running indicator LED, Red soft starter fault indicator LED, Reset push button for soft starter fault reset- Door mounted programming terminals for soft starters - Elapsed runtime meters- Ethernet I/P (Rockwell Automation) communications protocol- SCADA interface terminal block with Remote Start/Stop input, Motor Running, and Motor Fault outputs- Dedicated section with backpanel for control equipment. PLC by others. Minimum 2 sq/ft- 480x120 distribution transformer and load center with a minimum of four 15amp single pole breakers- TVSS on incomming power- Heater Strips with adjustable thermostat- Vents and/or fans as needed to meet soft starter cooling requirements- 100% main breker rating 156 FLA x2= 312A continuous load (if both pumps run at the same time) 80% of 400A = 320A
