# WALLER PARK TANK AND BOOSTERS CONTROL NEEDS DISABLE COMMAND TO BOOSTER SKID. - the Grundfos controller is a CU352.It has configurable digital inputs. One of those can be a system on/off.There are 4 wires and 1 Cat6 running between the PLC panel and the Booster panel. Radio test -85dbm best rssi  Testing results are in Project folder ![[img_20190701_124806.853.jpg]] PLAN REVIEW 4/8/2019 LEVEL TRANSMITTER - Rosemount 2088 with local operator interface, 0-30 psi, add block and bleed manifold. I suggest changing the brass piping to coated black iron. Changing a galvanically corroded pipe nipple in the side of a full water tank is a challenge that we like to avoid. Show location on tank plan. TANK INLET FLOW METER - (Optional) Add a Cla-Valve model X144D vortex shedding insertion electronic flow meter. These meters are built to be installed into one of the 1/2" ports on the Cla-Valve body, so it doesn't require inline piping space. This will give us flow rate and totals for water entering the tank. This will be important for future remote troubleshooting by an Operator via SCADA. BOOSTER DISCHARGE FLOW METER - I need the spec's on this meter. Also, verify there will be two conduits run to this meter from the SCADA panel. TANK INLET CLA-VALVE - Add OPEN and CLOSED position switches. Verify there will be two conduits run to this valve from the SCADA panel. BOOSTER PUMP PACKAGE - Please provide electrical specifications for review. CONTROL NARRATIVE NOTES Questions: - Will the flow rate into the Tank be limited? (YES. CLAVALVE HAS DUAL SOLENOID RATE CONTROL WITH BRAINS. WE WILL SEND A 4-20MA SIGNAL TO THE CONTROLLER FOR THE FLOW SETPOINT- Will the booster pump control panel have its own PLC for control, or will the SCADA PLC control the pumps? (BOOSTERS ARE A PACKAGED SKID. IT WILL HAVE SEPARATE PLC. )- We will need a conduit from the SCADA Panel to the top of the Tank for the data radio. I/O LIST DIGITAL ANALOG - INLET FLOW- INLET PRESSURE- TANK LEVEL- BOOST PSI- BOOST FLOW 90% PLANSET REVIEW 9/2019 What is the intended purpose of the 6" Pump Control Valve on the booster discharge? Section 16165 The RTU panel will be separate from the 480V Service Pedistal, in a wall mount enclosure under the shade structure along with the Booster control panel Control panels and Booster VFD panel shall have A/C units, and be insulated with rigid foam insulation mounted to the inner cabinet walls 16165 1.3.H - Use A/C units rather than fans and louvers 2.3.G - same 16950 2.3.a.1 Enclosures shall be NEMA 4X 2.3.d Use A/C units rather than fans and louvers 2.8.c  Mount pilot devices on inner swing-out panel, not on outer door THE CHANGES REQUESTED ABOVE WERE MADE 7/6/2020 P&ID The PLC in CP110 shall be Allen-Bradley Micro850 or Compact Logix. VFDs to be controlled and monitored by Ethernet I/P network. Run Cat5E shielded cable between CP101 and SCADA RTU. I/O to SCADA will be by ethernet communications rather than hardwired.  Except for power and fault signals. The RTU PLC, Radio, and SCADA integration will be by Laguna's System Integrator Add a 480 volt power alarm from CP-110 to SCADA Add an analog output from the SCADA RTU to the ClaValve flow controller to transmit the flow setpoint Add a pressure transmitter on the Inlet side of the ClaValve and connect to an analog input on the SCADA RTU Show the Inlet Flow Transmitter on the PID and show as a feedback signal to the flow controller 100% plan review SHEET E32 DETAIL 'F' Please add a note to mount the Radio enclosure on the inside of the safety rail for safe access I had requested a flow meter and pressure transmitter be installed on the inlet to the tank at the 90% review. There is a flow transmitter that installs into the Cla-Valve that doesn't require room in the pipeline.  [https://www.cla-val.com/x144d-with-lcd-touch-screen-display-p-653.html](https://www.cla-val.com/x144d-with-lcd-touch-screen-display-p-653.html)
