# Historian failed to get IDAS configuration version error

To Shutdown and Disable Historian
Left click Management Console
Hover All Tasks
Click Shutdown (and disable) Historian
Also delete the config file from this location
C:\ProgramData\ArchestrA\Historian\IDAS\Configurations
Be sure to disable historian before deleting files.
