# UV Siemens removal Tie IO from UVs directly to ChemRm PLC Possibly use wiring and IO that goes from Siemens IO to ChemRm IO to wire the UV IO direct. (wires 73-88) Generate signals in ChemRm PLC for SCADA Calculate DOSE in ChemRm plc rather than receiving it via AI The Flow and Transmittence signals from the splitter to the Siemens PLC can be removed. These signals originate from the ChemRm PLC Dose analog outputs from the UVs are currently running through isolator/converters that convert to 0-20ma. It appears that there is no voltage on either side, but intuition says the analog card provides the power for the loop. Will need to test.
