# Re: Issues and Projects > **Thread Summary:** Kevin Seifert and Mike Arias discussed issues with the Primary Clarifier sludge pumps faulting without triggering alarms, and the need to replace the sump pump enclosure at Primary Clarifier #1 due to moisture problems. Kevin planned to visit the site the following morning to inspect the sump pump issue and review other projects, while also seeking clarification on the sludge pump faults and alarm settings. Mason Radke was added to the conversation to assist, and no final decisions were made yet, but a site visit and further investigation were scheduled. --- ## 1. From: Kevin Seifert <kevin@autosysnet.com> — Thu, 19 Feb 2026 19:42:24 +0000 Adding @Mason Radke<mailto:mason@autosysnet.com> to the conversation. Hello sir. The weekend and the show were great. Always enjoy my time with Mal. I talked to Justin this morning and I told him I will come by tomorrow morning to check out that issue with the sump pump. We will also look at the other projects you have. Do you know what the fault was at the sludge pumps? Did you get a high level alarm for the sump? Are the alarms set to a severity lower than 900? I can find the answers to the second two if you don't know or don't have the time to check. -Kevin Seifert, AutoSys LLC ________________________________ From: Mike Arias <Arias@sslocsd.us> Sent: Wednesday, February 18, 2026 1:53 PM To: Kevin Seifert <kevin@autosysnet.com> Subject: Issues and Projects Good Afternoon Kevin, How was your weekend? How did the Dog Show go? When you have a chance let me know what your availability looks like for this week. We are looking to replace the enclosure for the sump pump at Primary Clarifier #1. We’ll be looking into a new enclosure as well as new internal components, we’re getting moisture in the enclosure and it is affecting operation of the pump. I’d also like to have you take a look at the control panel for the WaterChamp so that you can put together a quote for installation of the new panel. As far as issues, last night we had the Primary Clarifier sludge pumps fault at the bucket, stopping all pumps, yet no Win-911 alarm to indicate that operation of the sludge pump had stopped. If you or Mason has a chance to look at that problem, that would be great. Thank you sir, let me know when you might be able to stop by. Kind regards, Michael Arias Michael J. From: Kevin Seifert <kevin@autosysnet.com> — Thu, 19 Feb 2026 19:54:11 +0000 Actually, now that I'm realizing this, I think you are talking about the sludge pumps at the primary clarifier. Was it all the pumps, meaning both pumps at Primary 1 and both at Primary 2? -Kevin Seifert, AutoSys LLC ________________________________ From: Kevin Seifert <kevin@autosysnet.com> Sent: Thursday, February 19, 2026 11:42 AM To: Mike Arias <Arias@sslocsd.us>; Mason Radke <mason@autosysnet.com> Subject: Re: Issues and Projects Adding @Mason Radke<mailto:mason@autosysnet.com> to the conversation.
