**11:59 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08TVA84PD4/p1775156362205029):** @andy how do we want to fail motor objects on comm fail?
**12:16 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08TVA84PD4/p1775157398796059):** Can we do Inp-Fail I believe and interlock I think I mention this in the doc, is that what you're referring to?
**12:17 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08TVA84PD4/p1775157455166809):** inp_fail has a bit linked to it already, i could do an OR
**12:17 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08TVA84PD4/p1775157461062459):** and also add it to the interlocks
**12:17 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08TVA84PD4/p1775157472722389):** Yes I would do an OR
**12:18 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08TVA84PD4/p1775157504762409):** And add to permissive and interlock? If you added to the interlock, do you have to add it to a permissive or is it redundant at that point? I just tied to both to be cautious.
**12:18 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08TVA84PD4/p1775157519382499):** redundant
**12:18 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08TVA84PD4/p1775157524255519):** Ok
**12:18 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08TVA84PD4/p1775157534381579):** interlock only is the call for this
**12:19 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08TVA84PD4/p1775157560097209):**
I have to tie the HOA to the permissive because I have the Ignition object functioning that way, so that should be tied into both, but we basically want to use interlock
**12:19 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08TVA84PD4/p1775157569992969):** For everything else
**14:55 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08TVA84PD4/p1775166919587899):** @andy did you say that you needed interlocks to be wired in a specific order?
**14:55 [andy](https://slack.com/archives/C08TVA84PD4/p1775166944079829):** No, I just want them to be consistent, if possible
**14:56 [Mason Radke](https://slack.com/archives/C08TVA84PD4/p1775166969946169):** ok
